This latest model of the Studio Camera not only boasts a 6K sensor for greater resolution and full RGB color, it also features an active Canon EF mount—providing compatibility with a large array of affordable EF-mount cine-style and still lenses. The Studio Camera 6K Pro now offers live streaming while retaining the talkback, tally, color correction, and raw recording to USB disks of the original 6K version. Built-in, electronically controllable ND filters let you quickly adapt to changing light conditions and a host of both broadcast and consumer interfaces makes it a snap to connect the 6K Pro to your studio setup.

Cinematic 6K Images for Live Production

The larger 6K sensor combined with Blackmagic generation 5 color science gives you the same imaging technology used in digital film cameras, producing cinematic images for live production. When combined with the built-in DaVinci Resolve primary color corrector, you get much better images than simple broadcast cameras.

Canon EF Lens Mount

Equipped with an active Canon EF lens mount, Studio Camera 6K Pro is compatible with a wide range of affordable cine-style and photographic lenses. Photographic lenses offer incredible quality because they're designed for use in high-resolution photography.

Global Live Streaming

Built-in live streaming means you can use the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro as a remote camera anywhere in the world and generate an H.264 live stream sent via the internet back to your studio. 

Built-In ND Filters

Use the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro's built-in ND filters to quickly and easily adjust the amount of light entering the camera. Designed to match the color of the camera, the 2, 4, and 6-stop neutral density filters (plus clear) filter both optical and IR wavelengths, eliminating IR contamination. The ND filters can be controlled using the buttons on the camera or remotely.

Powerful Broadcast Connections

With 12G-SDI, 10GbE Ethernet, talkback, and balanced XLR audio inputs, the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro model is designed for use with robust SDI switchers workflows.

Exceptional Low-Light Performance

The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro features gain from -12 dB (100 ISO) up to +36 dB (25,600 ISO), so it's optimized to reduce grain and noise in images while maintaining the full dynamic range of the sensor.

Frame Shots with Large 7" Viewfinder

The large 7" high-resolution screen will totally transform how you work with the camera because it's big enough to make framing shots much easier. The Pro model features an HDR display with extremely high brightness, perfect outdoors in sunlight.  

Physical and Touchscreen Controls

Blackmagic Studio Cameras feature physical buttons and knobs as well as touchscreen controls. Knobs on the right side of the camera allow adjusting of the brightness, contrast, and focus peaking.  presets.

Communicate with the Director via Talkback

Unlike consumer cameras, the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro model has SDI connections that include talkback, so the switcher operator can communicate with cameras during live events. That means the director can talk to the camera operators to guide shot selection, eliminating the problem where all cameras could have the same shot at the same time.

Four Ways to Connect

Blackmagic Studio Cameras can be connected in lots of different ways. All models feature HDMI, so they are perfect for HDMI switchers such as the ATEM Mini. The HDMI supports video, tally, control, and record triggers for a broadcast-style workflow using a single HDMI cable.
